The joint detail between a shower tray or bath and adjacent wall can differ from site to site depending on the receptor type (upstand/no upstand) and wall surround. Another influencing factor in joint seal design is the joint sealing material’s integration and compatibility with liquid and sheet applied shower wall waterproofing membranes.

The TileBud Kit is suitable for sealing baths and shower trays with tiling upstands and shower trays with no tiling upstands where the backer foam is not being installed.

The Sealux strip is available in lengths between 2mtrs. and 3.8mtrs. Installation accessories include 2 alcohol surface wipes, a strip alignment card and multipurpose sealant spatula. Sealux-N silicone may be supplied upon request.

The TileBud Plus Kit includes a foam backer material making it suitable for installation during or after the installation of a shower tray or bath with or without a tile upstand attached.

The Sealux strip and foam backer material are available in lengths between 2mtrs. and 3.8mtrs. Installation accessories include 2 alcohol surface wipes, strip alignment guides, a backer rod insertion wheel and a multi-purpose sealant spatula.

Sealux-N silicone is not supplied in the kit but can be included in the box upon request.

TileBud Trade Formats

The TileBud Trade Roll is 50mtrs. long and targeted at repeat installers and retailers looking to reduce the strip cost and minimise packaging and installation waste. The Foam Backer Trade Roll is an adhesive backed foam 6mm thick x 12mm wide and 300 mtrs. long. Sealux-N Silicone is the only silicone tested and approved by Sealux for installation with the range of Sealux shower tray and bath joint sealing systems detailed on www.sealux.com.
